The Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research is a non-profit organization located just outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, U.S., established in 1994 by Aaron T. Beck, M.D., the Founding Father of Cognitive Therapy and University Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, and Judith S. Beck, Ph.D., Director of the Beck Institute and Clinical Associate Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania.
