Daniel David receives Aaron T. Beck Professorship

The Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, Romania, has just established a professorship in the name of Aaron T. Beck. This will be a major step in promoting the presence of Cognitive Therapy in Romania. 

Babes-Bolyai University has named Daniel David, PhD to this position. In his reception speech, Dr. David said:

“By founding the “Aaron T. Beck Professorship,” the Babes-Bolyai University honors a scientist who transformed the understanding and treatment of a wide range of psychological and psychiatric conditions… Professor Aaron T. CT Worldwide: First Romanian CBT book!

It’s exciting to see Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) spread around the world. New language texts are popping up all the time, and here is the first CBT book written originally in Romanian by Daniel David (previous Romanian texts were either brief introductions or translations). Congratulations Dr. David!
